Day 5 and Charlotte Nester, Mia Greenough, and Emma Haynes where all in action. 
Charlotte powered her way into her 6th final, out of 6 swims when she made the final of the 16 year’s 200m backstroke, swimming strongly throughout the race Charlotte finished 5th. In the 50m butterfly Mia Greenough just missed the medal’s in the 14 years event finishing 4th. In the 12/13 years finished 10th in a very close fought final with just 1.57 separating all 10 finalist.
The 2017 Summer Championships have seen a great performance from all our swimmers showing the massive development the club has made over the season. During the week 22 finals where achieved out of 26 swims coming away with 7 medals 2 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze. On behalf of everyone at Wigan BEST well done to everyone who took part.
