13 year-old James Cross competing at the Scottish National Age Group Championships in Aberdeen has become the 10th Wigan BEST swimmer to achieve their National Qualifying Times. It came in the 13 year boys 200m Backstroke where James finished in 2:24.57 1.5 seconds 
inside the National mark.
James has had some brilliant swims, this week, making the final in boys 200m Breaststroke in 2:48.01 finishing in 8th place. In the same session James went on to make the final in the boys 100m Backstroke finishing in 1:10.10.
Competing in the boys 400 Individual Medley James fought hard all the way just missing bronze finishing 4th in personal best time of 4:14.19 just 0.10 second outside his English ASA National Qualifying Time.
