With the older end of the squad crossing the border into Yorkshire the stage was set for the younger members to travel over to Liverpool for their level one meet looking to improve from Counties and gain some more long course experience.
The younger swimmers competed very well with several outstanding performances and also some learning that long course racing is very different to short course racing, hopefully both swimmers and parents understand the situation a little better.
James was very pleased with the pre pool work and also the camaraderie between the swimmers. Well done to all and thanks to Andy, James, Kelly, Lyndsey and Neil for their assistance on poolside.
With regional entries now closed swimmers need to work hard over the next few weeks as well as focusing on their skills as Regionals gets nearer.
