Day 3 and the 15 year-old 200m Individual Medley, Jennifer Green was back in the pool, producing another pb time
and qualifying for the final in 2:26.08.
In the final and lane 5 Jennifer powered her way down the fly leg turning in 30.69, after the backstroke leg Jennifer was in 7th place turning 3.53 seconds by behind the leader which meant Jennifer had to use all her breaststroke skills and determination to get back into the race. Following an excellent breaststroke leg Jenifer was now in 2nd place just 0.69 behind the leader, she battled hard all the way finishing the freestyle leg in in 33.34 and touched the wall in a fantastic 2:24.04 equal first and a 3.28 second pb and sharing the gold medal and giving Wigan BEST our 7th medal of the week and Jennifer her 2nd gold and 3rd medal, this week.
